OBVIOUSLY
Available for Sale - May 2022
A CANDID, UNAPOLOGETIC JOURNEY OF DIVORCE, DATING, AND RAISING TINY HUMANS
Whether it’s belly-aching laughter, horrific second-hand embarrassment, or profound empathy, Obviously by Allison Testoni will elicit every last one of your emotions. Author Allison Testoni cheekily walks through her life story, leaving no detail unscathed, including the brutal truth about her sexless first marriage masked with a white picket fence and suburban dream home. Obviously leads readers to an insightful understanding that life may have thrown you off course but perhaps your intended course was never the path meant to be taken. With an overflow of wit, tons of sarcasm, and a healthy amount of anxiety, every reader will relate to Allison’s memories that jump off the page. Whether you are divorced, single, married, anti-relationship, or have a strong distaste for children, dive into Obviously and laugh at the misgivings of life (and inadvertently learn about yourself, too).
MEET ALLISON
Author of Obviously
Allison Testoni, the author of Obviously, is a Northeast girl now living in the south (well, the south as in Florida). With a degree in psychology (human sexuality), Allison somehow landed in every professional industry with the exception of human sexuality, including retail and makeup artistry. With time came her best role yet – mother of two – now thriving as a stay-at-home mom and re-entering (and crushing) corporate America within the marketing and advertising space (with a side of writing, obviously). Allison’s modern family is the highlight of her life. With her two beautiful daughters and loving husband, she finds solace in traveling with her tribe, cooking enough food to feed an army (it’s the Italian in her), and sharing Doodle content on Instagram (not-so-guilty pleasure).
“I want people to finish this book and immediately text me (don’t worry, I won’t answer), and ask to have a cup of something and hear more of the story they want more of, which just may lead them to understand more about themselves, too.”
